The US really only seems to benefit those who are highly ambitious and actually want to follow a darwinian way of life where all that matters is reaching the top. It must suck being born in the US if you don't give two shits about "grinding" and "making it".

Making it in the US is comparatively easier than in other countries. Back in the Philippines my father wouldn't make 80k a year being a cop where as in the us he does.

Not a bad salary. I guess the only downside is worrying about getting popped.

cops are extremely lazy and their job is basically to be professional assholes. statistically it's not a dangerous job, even in dangerous areas, they just ham it up for sympathy points.

I have only ever gotten parking tickets. I am just acknowledging that doing their jobs means they have to fish for misbehavior. For the average person, if you talk to a cop it's probably the worst interaction you'll have all day.
