Why can't turks just let kurds exist? What is preventing them from simply letting kurds be kurds in their lands? I don't get it

No such thing as kurd land. Everywhere they claim is owned by non-kurds

That's only because they don't have their own state/country though, which is just down to historical chance

Just because they happen to live there doesn't make it theirs. That land used to belong to Iran then we conquered in 16th century and after that defended it from French after WW1. We won't give up land just because bunch of inbred goatfuckers wanna found a country there

I've literally never heard any, let alone a good, argument as to why Turkey should exist and own parts of other nations/lands inhabited by other ethnic groups, while kurds should not. All I ever hear is "it's just this way because it's this way and the state can enforce it with violence"

Also calling them goat fuckers really gives the game away, I guess it really is just about kicking people who are down to feel powerful yourself and justifying it with bigotry

I get the same stuff talking to French nationalists about corsica or Spanish about catalonia, and countless others, it's really a braindead way of thinking about things
