I can't tell if bottom middle is m or f

Yes it does, we accept that they are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law- by a jury of their peers.

i can save skylar. he/she would be my queen

Is there any historically/political reason you display their faces ?

Yes we do. There's positives and negatives.
The bad parts
> they gain infamy (some people want to be infamous and it leads to copycats)
> there is a bias toward reporting certain crimes for entertainment/shock value which leads to distorted perceptions
> websites archive the pictures then blackmail people to have them deleted
> could be damaging the suspect's reputation if he/she is later proven to be innocent
the good part
> if a witness recognizes the suspect, they can testify and help bring more evidence to the case
> shames/humiliates the criminal (this type of deterrence works for some people)

If they were to escape, they should need to be identified. Its been for documentation purposes since it became standard during Chicago mob era days.

I doubt they showcase the faces of people that have any probability of being innocent

No, it's not shown in media here because of PC reasons, have to go to police website to see the current wanted criminals..

>probability of being innocent
They all have a probability of being innocent. They are assumed innocent to begin with, until prosecutors do their jobs.

Then showcasing their faces like that is unfair as fuck

American reading comprehension moment

We do but mostly for cartel or gang members

How is it unfair? You are innocent until proven guilty. Its the same for celebrities, everyone knows their faces already.

>reason you display their faces ?
>documentation
Whats wrong Mohammed? Should we wait until they escape to release their faces?

You're destroying the image of a possibly innocent person

My country does not show pictures nor release names of arrested people because it would infringe on the GDPR. The police only release personal info of any kind in rare cases where it may lead to the apprehension of a wanted criminal.
Except in cases of high-profile white collar crime, in which you typically hear about all the people involved and see them too.

around blacks and muslims NEVER relax

>You're destroying the image
If they are innocent, the facts of the case speak for itself.

Why do you only care about their face picture, and not about the fact their name (and that of their family) is posted. These people will get a trial- their family and acquaintances are now on blast also.

All repeat offenders that get convicted have their name, picture and crime posted on a government website. They don't stay up permanently, they get deleted after some time (a few months I think).

> You are innocent until proven guilty.
in a court of law, not in a court of public opinion.

>in a court of law, not in a court of public opinion.
If you are innocent in a court of law- the public opinion is 1. irrelevant and 2. likely to change in regards to the way you are seen.

for anyone interested on looking at the subhumans

yeah this makes things even worse

Yet all you care about is a picture of someone who is presumed innocent and also will get a trial that is often also publicly available.

It's extremely relevant. Imagine your picture goes up on the news as a suspect for a heinous crime. Everyone who knows [of] you is going to be talking about it. How many of them are going to follow the case over the coming months/years to see that you were eventually proven innocent? Only a sub-set of them. Your innocence won't be reported on the news (at least not to the extent that your arrest was), because it's not a newsworthy story. Everyone will still have their own opinions about you, and any future person that googles you will see that you were convinced of a crime, many of them will have that lingering suspicion that maybe you actually did it, and it's best to keep their distance from you.
And besides, "innocent in a court of law" doesn't even mean you didn't do it, it just means the law/evidence couldn't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Just ask anyone you know whether OJ was innocent. Look how many people cut ties with Michael Jackson despite him never being convicted of anything.

OJ took place in a high speed chase- through busy streets. And MJ was being accused publicly by family members. Both of which were public figures. And both got trials where they were allowed to be represented by an attorney etc etc.

Yes, everyone still has their opinions about you- they had them before you committed the crime or were eventually convicted. People have opinions, thats life.

Sometimes.

>presumed innocent
By the courts not by the shitton of people that will see them on TV
>also will get a trial that is often also publicly available
It doesn't matter your image gets tainted forever by this type of shit and most people couldn't be bothered to look these things up anyway. The fact that their names are also shown just makes the whole situation worse but it doesn't make the police showing their faces like that less bad.

>Montevideo
wtf
and all the women look like absolute shit

they do in Australia

>By the courts not by the shitton of people that will see them on TV
Why are you assuming a shit ton of people will see them on TV? Broadcasters dont post pics of people all day for the views and ad revenue.
