No. We just don't like authoritarian states, or odious collectivism. China's history isn't actually that interesting given its so remarkably insular for the span of time they've existed. Just constant civil wars and partitions and an utter inability to culturally project beyond their borders, relative to their massive size.

Also this is retarded, China is basically its own thing (while also influenced Vietnam, Korea, Japan), while the Western countries weren't really ever a separate civilization, they were always extremely interconnected, with ideas spreading between each other constantly.
For example, a German guy in 1517 wrote a book critiquing the church, and already by 1530 Britain, Scandinavia and several German states already became protestant, with the rest of western europe being terrified of Protestantism.

The trade route through the middle east wasn't just to China. And the "center of the world" doesn't have people show up to trade with them, it trades with everybody and exports power and influence. China was never a world power because they never made a real attempt at it, even though they had the potential. European boats had to show up on their shores not the other way around.
