Just got to Pacitan. All the other coastal towns had like 1 or 2 Hotels max. Here there is one gorrilion hotels for some reason. Also saw a westerner for the first time in 13 days. A Spanish man who have lived in this exact hotel for 3 weeks already just surfing. He also couldn't speak a word of Indonesian. I don't want to say I look down on him but I kinda did. What is with Pacitan either way? There are lots of domestic and even international tourists here but there where nearly none in the previous coastal towns even though I think Pacitan has a less interesting landscape. Prigi was the absolute best coastal town I visited. I look forward to leave to gunung sewu tomorrow so I don't have to see tourists again.
Most of Java has extremely fertile volcanic soil but gunung sewu has tropical red clay in line with what can be found on the other islands. It will be very interesting to see how this effects the plant life and the agriculture on the region. I think I'll keep staying close to the coast for a few more days though. I'm going to cycle 1-5 km inland most of the time because of the roads but as most of the hotels are coastal I'm going to visit the coast during the nights to sleep. The sea breeze really helps with the hot weather as well.

Telkomsel Prepaid 50gigabyte or wifi when at a hotel which has working wifi. So far I have used only 6gigabytes of the 50gig plan as I don't watch videos and mostly use the internet for reading text based websites which takes nearly no data.
