How are the schools divided in your country?

In the United States, kids ages 5-11 go to elementary schools.
Kids ages 11-14 go to middle schools.
And then kids ages 14-18 go to high schools.

Is it the same way in your country?

exactly like japan
6-3-3

almost the same, 6-12 primaria, 12-18 secundaria

6-12 elementary school and 12-16/18 highschool.
My highschool however had two buildings, one for the first and second graders and one for older kids. I assume most schools of a certain size do it that way

...

Playgroup (optional - but 90% of kids attend)
Age 3 - 4
Reception (mandatory)
Age 4 - 5
Primary School
Year 1 - Year 6
(Age 5 to 11)
Secondary School
(Age 11 to 16)
Year 7 - Year 11
Then there’s 2 options :
Sixth Form (white collar)
Vocational College (blue collar)
(Age 16 to 18)

Basic education is from 6-15/16, gymnasium from 16-18/19
Gymnasium are split into two branches, trade preparation, and uni preparation.

If you went the trade path you either work directly after graduating or you go to vocational school for 2 years, if you go to uni prep then you pick a path of art, social sciences, natural sciences, or technology in order to specialize for university

Then you either do 3 or 5 years in a uni

Primary school starting at age 5 is years 1-6 then there is intermediate which is years 7-8 then high school being years 9-13. However some really new schools have a "junior high" which is years 7-10 and a "senior high" being years 11-13 and there are also a few "full primaries" being years 1-8 and meeting with an intermediate. I myself went to a private school which has a pre school, kindergarten, primary school referred to as "junior school" being years 1-6, a "middle school" being years 7-10, and a "senior school" being years 11-13 all together on the same campus

Too many words guys

Ok
>Is it the same way in your country?
No

there are no schools in lithuania

0-6 no school
6-15/16 simple school
15/16-18/19 intermediate school
18/19 + 3/5 advanced school

6/7 - 10/11 - elementary
10/11 - 15/16 - middle
15/16 - 17/18 - high

3-6 Preschool
7-12 Primary school
13-15 Secondary school
16-18 Preparatory school

School starts at ~5-6 years old
1st-4th or 6th grade (depending on the state) is Elementary school
After that the kid gets sorted into one of three groups and attends a respective school
Hauptschule: for stupid kids, supposedly prepares them for blue collar work, but it's more of a daycare for the cretins of society
Realschule: the normal kids go here, you can decide to do either blue or white collar work afterwards
Gymnasium: kids with good grades go here, it is expected that those graduating from here will attend university
Up to 10th grade is mandatory, after that you can do 2-3 more years and get yourself a certification that allows you entry to university, the vast majority of people in Gymnasiums do this, don't know about the other two

Australians can't suffer

post more clothed, sire.

in my time it used to be grades 1-5 for elementary, 6-8 for middle, 9-12 for high school, then they changed it to a 4+4+4 system

I dont even know, I think they changed things after I left school
