Once you were conquered you weren’t treated as a subhuman slave but instead a roman citizen with all the benefits of roman civilization. Conquered territories weren’t colonies but an equal part of the empire itself
>it was beloved by the people it conquered
>yeah dude definitely there wasn't revolts every now and then hahaha
they only loved it once it was gone
>>So great it was beloved by the people it conquered
never happened
So beloved it fell apart once the army was incapable of keeping up order
everyone that didnt love it got decimated
Ah, Great Bulgaria. Now that was an Empire.
>so “great” it collapses to people not younger newcomers but their contemporaries
>>yeah dude definitely there wasn't revolts every now and then hahaha
There really wasn't though
There were revolts literally every FUCKING week shut the FUCK up God I hate uneducated ppl
Australian joke?
Such as? Only Egypt had more than 2 revolts against Imperial power.
>Civil wars count as revolts against Roman power
Also out of the Jewish revolts there were only two in over 600 years of direct Roman rule of the region. The second link includes only a small amount which were native revolts against Roman rule for the purpose of removing them.
>rebellions and internal conflicts for powergrabs aren't revolts because uhhh... they're not MKAY SWEATY?
The point is
>So great it was beloved by the people it conquered
So to prove that wrong it would be that the revolts were anti-Roman power. Which the majority weren't.
>revolts aren't against the main power in charge lol
just stfu plz
>ANTI-ROMAN
read nigga
No
Just some jews
But only twice
People in roman territories were CITIZENS and not colonial slaves treated as trash
They actually improved the land they conquered.
