there's birds, squirrels, and rats but they're all pretty sparse... i guess pigeons?

this is my 2 week summer break so i wanted to explore the countryside but i have no money so i'll just be shitposting lmao

nah langusge school

im too old and grades too shit for MEXT

i mean idrk exactly, i have a budget of like $450 a month here and it's been going quicker than expected, it's just a bummer cause all my classmates are going to kyoto/osaka/up north and im just kinda sitting here doing what i did at home

still happy to be here tho i can't bitch

all this being said, i live like 15 minutes from ueno zoo, i could just go there it's only $6; maybe i can make s thread later and show some based animal pics

also back home i shockingly saw a lot of wild turkey, this is in NYC suburbs (~1hr north, lived by a forest) and foxes. i always wonder how they live, there's small forests everywhere but not any huge one, i guess they just cross through neighborhoods often

yeah it's native, same family as yours but apparently their song is different

No that would be these little bastards, they beat and sometimes kill most of the females in their clans

Waxeye? Never heard of those. Have you heard of the shrike? It impales its enemies on sharp objects, it's a rly baste bird.

Same, our birds seem to be quite similar. We call them silver eyes, cute little things their tweets are adorable

Australia and New Zealand have totally different birds from the rest of the world. Most of the bird families here are only found here and on the islands around us
