But they were >le based catholics. How could this ever be?
>nazis

jej, the church was a punching bag for fascists in the 20th century
The Church basically created Fascism as a bulwark against Bolshevism. Read a book.
>nazis
>catholic
they were embodyment of protestant "morality"
Yes it is, soulless pseudo-neoclassicism that only serves to stroke their huge ego and compensate their insecurities
Even brutalism looks more pleasing
?
Much of the National Socialist party infrastructure was constructed by Catholic noblemen (who had good relations with the pope) and plenty of Lutherans as well. The NatSoc party saw many Christians but never the domination of one denomination over another, in a sense it was then truly Christian in the broadest sense.
All of the nazi leader were from Bavaria. The NSDAP was founded in Munich. The nazi parade fields were in Nuremberg.
Look at the voting trends, the people who voted and overwhelmingly supported them were protestant
Incorrect as pointed out. They started in the south which was overwhelmingly Catholic compared to the Protestant north. Catholic church building increased throughout Germany in the Third Reich years. Not to mention Fascism itself originated in Italy, the Catholic world capital.
I'd like to see those voting statistics you speak of because I have a sneaking suspicion they do not exist.
it's not the leadership but the people that were the force of nazism, without them they wouldn't get anywhere, the catholic regions voted far less for nazis than protestant ones, if only catholics voted nazis would never get in.
