How's work going in your country
How's work going in your country
Work? lol
the company does press releases where they say they've over-expanded and have to slim down
at the same time they never have enough people to meet the goals they set and try to make up for it by assigning one person to do several jobs
this is a massively big and famous company worth over 1 trillion and it really looks like it's being steered into the ground by blind leaders

I hate it. What a miserable life.
I got the highest grade in my calculus class twice in a row even though I suck at math
I'm in the second year of a 3-year job training program. Generally I hate it, but today was alright. A boomer coworker came to my office and we chatted a bit, the dude was really friendly and it kinda made my day.
Rich parents here.
changing jobs at the end of next week so not doing anything rn lol
take a guess wagie
dismal
currently browsing 4channel and youtube in bed while getting paid more in one day than a brazilian will make in a month
i have to apply for jobs here in my country
dreading the moment they ask me about the 3 year gap
Good but salary is shit, 430 usd.
I can afford living cause I rent an apartment I own.
I keep failing all my job interviews and have never been able to get a call back maybe it's time I forgot about getting a remote job
>How's work going in your country
Breddy good.
>wake up
>make big thermos of coffee
>climb into my truck
>drive to first warehouse
>let the other wagies load the back up (thank fuck for new rules) while I listen to the stereo and chill
>drive to drop off, their wagies unload the back
>and the next etc
I do about 4-5 deliveries per day. All while blasting metal or country and enjoying my self.
The truth is I spend my time on work and it’s miserable but really I just feel like I have no reason to live. Work is like an anti-reason to live. It’s the exact opposite of a purpose.
sounds nice, I hate my complicated office job where I have to think
I feel the same
how is winter driving in the mountains
trucking looks comfy
It's great fun. Bit thrilling sometimes on narrower stretches of road when it's covered in ice and snow but chains and winter tires work really well.
could a skinny lanklet do the job you reckon
I imagine putting on those chains is heavy work
Your physical size doesn't really matter.
You place the chains in front, drive the truck forward, lift up the sides around the tire and hook them into place. Doesn't weigh much. It's more of a "fingers frozen stiff and knocking them on everything" kinda job.
For example, one of the drivers at the firm I work for is a 162cm woman. She does just fine.
