ESLs, do you actually like your native language(s)?
ESLs, do you actually like your native language(s)?
Yes? What kind of question is that
Yes, but don't tell the portuguese
No I hate it. But I hate *nglish more
I'm EFL, I don't particularly like or dislike English. To me it's just a tool for communication. I will say I do like how mellow and relaxed it sounds compared to some foreign languages like spanish and chinese, which sound tiring to speak.
Yes? I don't see any reason other than mental illness to dislike your own language.
yeah I like how it's confusing for language learners but it's effortless to use for me
Yes, my native language is extremely cucked. It has a lot of Persian, Arabic influence
And English now
Absolut
Sure why not
I can watch anime without sub or horrible dub
Americans have retarded patriotic idea that if you learn a language you're replacing your nationality. It's stupid, you can't forget your mother tongue.
yes i learn new words each day by reading old letters and poems
I prefer English unironically.
Nah, I think french sucks
It's overly complicated with dozen different tenses in different modes
You prefer it to Spanish?
Whoa what flag is that?
I'm takeshi.
isn't AAVE considered a dialect of English though?
the flag of Kanaky
No it's a useless language no one outside my state uses. We don't make any cool media nor do i have irl friends to communicate with.
This guy?
>there are monolinguals browsing this thread right now
>you can't forget your mother tongue.
I’ve read several accounts from terminally online neet esls that they’re starting to forget their mother tongue since they never use it. I don’t speak to anyone anymore besides posting on 4channel and even I can feel my verbal capacity is gradually shrinking
>you can't forget your mother tongue
I also can't forget your mother's tongue.
