Just finished watching the new Top Gun movie. Why can’t other countries into aircraft? One F-14 is enough to take down 3 foreign “fifth generation” fighters

Without alien technology, your f-14 would fly on a coal engine!
dios mio...
By aliens did they mean german scientists?
movies aren't real
realistically...
yeah that's pretty real. A F 14 will shred any russian Su 57. That's not even a joke. It really would. They are that bad. The F 14 would pull some tight turn, the Su would try to follow then shred itself. It's a giant mess. The Airframes are really easy to build.
what about European jets?
Kkkkkkkk

Kek
Your weapons and rockets are garbage
F15s kind of suck honestly, I doubt they will be able to do much in a conflict against anything greater than illiterate goat herders.
t. F15 mechanic
Kek
you stole all the nazi scientists and engineers!
well soviets did it too but they collapsed so
My takeaway was Tom Cruise should have died when he crashed and had a kino funeral scene like Val "Cancerman" Kilmer.
Kek
Amerimonkeys stull use soviet rockets from the 60s called Soyuz
All you need to defeat amerimonkeys is buying russian weapons
That’s one sexy jet
Imagine piloting supersonic jet
Even subsonic turbojets are pretty fast.

We rely on you guys to protect our skies along with other NATO members so there is no need. Also we're small as shit and cant even make cars so planes are out this world production wise
hmm depends. The new gens could probably beat the f 14s.
sure... tell me about the su 57 user.
America has had the longest uninterrupted aeronautical + aerospace industrial sector in the world. We have probably invested more in research & development than all other countries combined.
American companies and gov agencies have likely put every design known to man through wind tunnels and computer simulations.
The U.S. military was doing shit like using cruise missiles in WWII, flying mach 3+ jets in the 1950s and developing stealth aircraft designs in the 1960s.
Other countries can compete but it’s unlikely they would ever be able to develop something that the US cannot match or surpass eventually
They are so far behind they can't even reverse engineer it. They tried and lost almost 20 years. See the Su 57 debacle or whatever china is calling it's new "super jet" that keeps getting delayed after it shreds itself. They rename it every 4 or 6 years. Anyone got the clip of the "thrust vectoring death machine" which it's engines "thrust vectored" into a spinning death machine that killed the pilot. They used simple hydraulics to fake "thrust vectoring" which don't work under those Gs so it just kept locked.
Chinese air shows are awesome lol
For me it's the Boeing X32
adding on, in order for a jet to have true thrust vectoring you need insanely strong hydraulic systems using fly by wire or "wi fly" and you need to be able to pull the power from the actual engines to do it. otherwise you just don't have enough force to control the engine vector beyond the initial "vectoring"
The chinese just tried to put a hydraulic system on the engines to do it without most of that and the hydraulics weren't near powerful enough. So they vectored into a high g climb and were locked, which killed the pilot, and destroyed about 250 million dollars worth of hand made aircraft. This has happened atleast 5 or 6 times we know about. They try doing this stuff at air shows to calm their population down and say "we are so far behind! see"
for me, it’s the bird of prey
