are they firsties or thirdies?

doesn't matter
what matters is that is a harbor for pedophiles

thirdies I had high expectation when I visited tel aviv

Saudis can enter Israel, Israelis cannot enter Saudi Arabia, this isn't fair though

a shithole in Middle East that is in state of perpetual war with extreme internal divisions and is condemned by entirety of the civilised world for it's crimes...hmmm

Why do you say that

they're stupid for choosing a land in the middle east instead of Europe

How would that work?
Who would roll over and surrender in Europe if couple dozen thousand dysgenic religious fanatics said to move out?

Germans. Should’ve just given them East Prussia.

Didn't they try to burn the world because they lost Eastern territories?

Soviets gave them some province in Siberia

I’m talking about after they lost WW2.

if tel aviv is the only experience you have of Israel then im sorry for you

is there anything special about israel or is it just capitalist trading hub zone #13413 with Hebrew?

we have thirdy mentality and the bad neighborhoods/cities look like mexico without the orenge filter but living standards fo most of us who aren't palis or haridim are first world level

I've been there twice, once for work, once on vacation (I'm not Jewish either). The affluent areas of the large cities and some of the suburbs on the outskirts of the large cities are objectively first world, but many neighborhoods in the large cities and some of the smaller towns are quintessentially third world in every way from the way the streets look to the architecture to even the atmosphere of the neighborhood. The Arab and Ultra Orthodox areas are the poorest and most backward, the secular, urban areas on the coast are the wealthiest. Overall, the country has a pretty high HDI and it reflects on the population with how many people are conversational in English and how functional most of the facilities are, but at the same time, most of the country does look quite run down and there are a lot of poor people (apparently highest amount in the developed world). All in all, it's an extremely diverse country for its tiny size.

Considering their foreign ministry isn't even giving out visas now because they're on strike, I would put them firmly in the thirdies camp

>It doesn’t even enter their heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organization for their international world swindle, endowed with its own sovereign rights and removed from the intervention of other states: a haven for convicted scoundrels and a university for budding crooks.

Dead Sea, basically only truly stunning thing about Israel. Not only it's the most saline place in the world but also the lowest point on earth over 400 m below the sea level.

I mean we are capitalist (the kibbutz haven't been socialist for decades) and we do have quite a bit of globohomo.
really it depends on your definition of "special"

But yeah, to sum it up, I would say they are a low tier first world country (like America) or a high tier second world country (like Poland). I don't think you can really classify the country as one or the other. Tel Aviv's business district is first world, but Arab towns like Um Al Fahm or Ultra Orthodox neighborhoods like Bnei Brak are pure third world.

pretty accurate summery of this place

Of course it's special.
Only Jewish country in the world, only democracy in the Middle East.
Plenty of history here, many archeological ruins. A lot of preservation.
In a day you can drive from snow in the Golan Heights to desert. Dead Sea, Galilee. Long Coast line. The beautiful Judean desert. Negev (another different desert).
Vgh .. I love this country. I am thankful for it.
