Why is Times Square that famous? Is that peak America, giant fucking billboards?

Based

At least you have Tivoli gardens there
Aren't there a bunch of squares in the old center?

Why does it look like something from 1980s picture

Yeah but it's all overrated. The entire city center feels like a tourist trap

Beat me to it.

stop with the fake broken english davido

I was in Copenhagen with new year, it was fun walking around the city (until I got corona there). Looks a lot like a Dutch city funny enough

Looks oddly similar to my city square

>car-friendly

they're really aping times square with this intersection, more and more so as time goes on

I wish it was my dad's day and this square was still a bookstore and there were lots of cool arcades and pinball halls and sam the record man where my uncle used to work and deal with junkies all day
instead of shops you can't afford to shop at and wouldn't want to anyways and a few expensive entertainment venues and restaurants

I moved away from my city, typing this post is making me sad, there used to be a place for people like me in this town, but we've all been washed out by the sheer tide of money and class.
