Do grown ass men collect toys in your country

Do grown ass men collect toys in your country
It's pretty normal here due to Japan’s cultural power that surpass every country on the earth

My dad gives me these figurines for my birthday and Christmas because he doesn't know what I like. I don't know how to tell him "screw the presents, just get me laid" without sounding like a fiend so I just take these figurines and play with them like a manchild.

We call them "figurines".

Ok, speak of the devil.

Are people who collect fucko pop also considered losers there?
It looks pretty normie thing to me

I don't know. I think normies love them. My dad gives me these as well but I think they're ugly.

I have one (1) friend like that. Both he and his wife are weebs. They collect figurines, manga and anime DVDs/BDs. Also consoles and games. It's not normal, but they're happy so whatever.

Do you count paintable miniatures as toys?
I used bad boys like this is a strategy-based, table top war game.
It's seen are weird and you might get called a fag depending on who you're with and where you are but people are starting to care less and less.

Only manchildren

People might give you shit for wasting money if you have, what they see as, too many.
Their perception of you really depends on what the toys are, what franchise they are from, how many there are, and how they are displayed/stored.
If you actually play with them like a kid people might think you are mentally challenged.

School bullies are such an american thing. We didn't really have them when we were in school.

Bullshit

I don't even know what to tell you, I graduated in 2005 and bullies weren't a thing. We had gopniks, but I don't remember them being much of a bother.

I like the idea but never could find anything that I would like enough to purchase and display.
The usual figures look too cheap and too childish to me. At the same time I can't really see the point in one piece of some merchendise too, because if I imagine some figure on my desk filled with items that are not related to the figure then it will just look out of place there.

For example I like the character "The man with no name" from the old school western trilogy, but if I would place it in my apartment it will serve no other purpose other than staning on my desk with me aknolewding that it is there. I might as well be compete with the fact that such a figure exist and is standing somewhere in the world out there on someone's display and maybe even looks good and not out of place.

Yes, wish RC cars were this fun when I was a kid.
