Is the Danish "middle class" really like this?
Is the Danish "middle class" really like this?
this sounds like bs
I hate Americans.
Any Forums only allows respectful discussions of foreign cultures
I respectfully hate Americans.
>nooooooo I have to not be fat and actually see people and live without polluted air!!! what about my freedumbs???
Sounds like bs outside of ppl living in middle of copenhagen
Completely unironic answer: no, i dont want that. I like having a car. I like driving places. No i am not fat
middle class isn't average income
middle class is professional, middle class is accountant, teacher, university educated jobs (generally)
surely they can still afford to drive
>what biden wants
the entire west is going this way, regardless if it's blue tie man or red tie man in.
based american conservative dabbed on yuropoors
Someone has to tell this woman that hair looks like a helmet on her
America actually needs to work on being less car-dependent. We subsidize oil when we should actually tax it heavier. Also build some decent rail in this country.
fat
very fat
NOOOOOOO SHINY TEETH OLD MAN WANT TO MAKE ME POOR LIKE SCANDINAVIAN????? SOMEBODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING HELP
Biking to work is much more of a middle class than working class thing here. Living somewhere within a city centre and never needing a car is a big wealth flex
With a car you constantly have to be alert, with a bus or a train you can relax. Why do you prefer driving?
because he's fat
who asked?
In america the term 'middle class' is fetishized as an ideal for some reason
We hate poor people, they are lazy moochers and don't work hard enough.
But we hate rich people too, they are snobbish and elitists.
The man who drives forklifts for a living and struggles to keep himself afloat? He calls himself middle class
The affluent lawyer who owns 3 rental properties? Also calls himself middle class.
A liberal politician proposes a bill that helps lower income people. They will market it by saying "this bill will help struggling middle class americans" can't outright say "poor people" because that rings too many alarm bells in a lot of people minds who think "poor people? Just more free handouts for lazy freeloaders, it won't help middle class folks like me!" regardless of whether that bill will actually help them or not.
Similarly, a conservative will propose a tax break that will primarily help big business, can't outright say it will mostly help the wealthy so they will market it by saying "this bill will put more money into the rocket's of middle class families", and we'll have a lot of poor wagies who think it's such a wonderful thing that the government is gonna stop taking so much money from regular joe middle class people like them(even if it wouldn't effect their taxes at all)
You see, unless you are literally homeless, or you are as rich as mark cuban, in america you will be called middle class
You could do all of that on a bike
Middle class incomes were never intended to support a whole family, vacations, cars, retirement and all theae bells and whistles the millennials feel ao "entitled" to. Brandon needs to lower the wages now if we want to fight this inflation. If you choose not to apply yourself you fail in a free market system, and that is the way God and the Bible intends it.
he can't, he's too fat
Imagine the shape i would be in from biking 40x2km per day. Whoah i need a bike now. Only hassle is biking where there is lots of trucks
How can Slovenes afford to drive trucks if Danes can't afford to drive cars? Something is amiss here.
Because it's fun and rewarding to operate a piece of machinery and do it well. Even animals like driving cars.
I did that for two years, do not recommend.
>north americans spent between $1,800-$2,500 a year on gasoline prior to 2022
>americans specifically are now predicted to pay $5,000 yearly on gasoline
Here's the thing about this:
(1.) At this time is no actual supply shortage. There's plenty of gas. Because there are potential wars brewing with all three Big (ex-)Commie Meanies (Russia, China, North Korea), we know that if there was an actual shortage there would be rationing in place - and there is not.
(2.) The only reason that the average family will spend more on gas is because there is literally no alternative. You can't get anywhere in the USA/Canada without driving there. Simply put, you must drive.
(3.) The only rational conclusion in this situation is that oil companies feel like making more profits. They do not have to do this; they simply have the opportunity.
This isn't some Bidenightmare come to life. It's chickens coming home to roost. Same thing would have happened with Trump or anyone else. We designed most of our cities to be un-navigable by any means other than the car. We put our balls on a platter and gave them to the fuel companies and said "alright, I'm trusting you here."
Americans suck at driving
Honestly sounds based.
same
Because everything is built for cars here and the trucks are of the transport kind and it sucks how they all go through here to rest of europe.
I used to too but it was summer.
I don't disagree, but it varies wildly.
It's a good thing nobody actually lives in the cities in the USA. It doesn't matter if they're not navigable.
Why? What happened?
True, everyone is super aggressive and has no awareness of what's around them, driving here feels like playing mario kart.
Quit riding after I moved, didn't adjust diet, balooned from 75kg (too thin desu) to 100kg. Also huge legs look funny.
