This is mostly just correlated with wealth and catholicism to a lesser extent

"Ättestupa is a name given to a number of precipices in Sweden, Norway and Iceland. The name supposedly denotes sites where ritual senicide took place during pagan Nordic prehistoric times, whereby elderly people threw themselves, or were thrown, to their deaths"

my parents bought me an apartment after i finished university

White people prefer to rent an apartment in the big city with roommates.

We live in our parents homes better, we're no idiots! Why living in a room when you can live with your family?

But where do people go to have sexy time?

Meds are mommas boys, simple as. We are much more independent

My parents moved out when I was 14.

subhumans with brown features prefer living with their parents*

Or in other words: Meds have good relationships with their parents, whereas our families are so cold and dysfunctional that kids move out as soon as possible.

Gibs is going on

Or in other words: Meds have stunted growth and are reliant on their mothers far into adulthood, whereas our families teach kids to survive like matured individuals should.

>25-29
I didn't see how old this was considered. I mean, here I think it's pretty normal to move out by that time.
I've noticed that, generally the worse relationship someone had with their parents, the sooner they moved out. It's a red flag when someone moved out at 18/19/20 because it generally means they have trauma and all of the issues that come with that shit.

its actually a very big problem here, a single room hovel is half of your minimum wage hre

wtf a whole 9% of 25-29 still live at home? who are these people? brownies with their live at home culture?

I have a good relationship with my parents. I just don't want to live wall to wall with them like I've done for the first 20 years of my life.

>who are these people?

How are you supposed to study and do a job worth something at the same time? I mean most students here do work but it's never enough to pay the average rent, considering those are mostly part-time jobs

Government gives you money for studying.

wapeepo be like :
>parents too spicy!

Why would anyone wanna live at home after 18?
>inb4 hate parents
Nope, love my parents but I also love being my own person and not a literal incel living in my old childhood room.

>White people prefer to rent an apartment in the big city with roommates
No one has roommates in Scandinavia except the poorest students.

>swedish freaks acting like the whole continent is being paid by the govt to live alone when being a student like they are

Here in the nordicks you get paid to study and gibs for rent.
I even got around €1200 for buying furniture from the gubmint when I moved into my own apartment I rented when I was 18.

No, we know your countries don't work like that.
I don't even study, been a NEET since 9th grade, live alone and I'm 31.

be glad that you live in a country with a housing bubble and stop rubbing it in peoples faces

Dude I spend my days in my bed, I have 3 millions euros invested in index funds, paying dividends. Life's good.

>youre super obnoxious and nobody wants to talk to you about that
Clearly OP did.

I thought that thing of being paid to study was bullshit
It's not like uni taxes here are that high, you can even ask your uni to reduce them depending on how much your family earn, but it's still considered a "privilege" to have your own home (rent or not) at a young age
