What kind of clothes do I need to survive in the snow...

What kind of clothes do I need to survive in the snow? I'm going to NZ in two months to go skiiing with my big brother and I've already spent $1000 on ski clothes, and now he's telling me I need regular snow clothes for when were not skiing. WTF?!? How much more goddamn shit do I need to buy?!?! Do I just need a jacket or do I have to wear a sweater and thermals under that shit?!?!?!?!

That gif lmao my sides

probably wont need thermals but take a sweater or a hoodie to wear with the jacket just in case

based retard dog

okay. So I can just wear track pants, a jacket, and a hoodie underneath?

While you're actually skiing you don't need much clothing. I think thermals and then a ski jacket on top is the comfiest

would it be weird if i walked around in my ski jacket and pants when i'm not skiing?

Lmao look at that spastic lab puppy what a retarded dog lol
Haha what a silly pup
Look at him go
Hahaha

No, people are sweaty all the time regardless. Maybe bring something normal if you're going out eating or drinking in the evening

Theres no snow outside of the mountain, so you would probably get hot wearing those clothes around town

I find the snow isn't too bad with a good jacket, some gloves and good socks

oh okay. are jeans okay outside of mountains?

Husky deserves it t b h.

Yeah they're fine. NZ's going through a cold spout at the moment so maybe get some thermals or something.

You can wear literally anything you like, the only clothes you need to worry about is on the mountain since it's cold and wet. Apart from that you can wear anything

Thermals are pretty good, I got some for like 10 bucks from target
It was 9 last night and I wore them under jeans and it made me not feel freezing

> $1000 on ski clothes
is this serious? why didn't you just rent them from the ski lodge?

anything not covered was freezing cold
oh nice, nah I don't even go normal fishing because Brisbane is basically landlocked

depends on the temperature
generally, you want to layer up., so yuou can add/take off layers depending on the temperature.
the last thing you want is to sweat in your clothes or get your clothes wet, that's when you get cold.

Landlocked too thank fuck there's the Murray or there'd be nothing to do. They also have a thermal balaclava, great for when we used to get on the piss fishing all night esp in winter for Cod.
