I hate cars and car culture so fucking much

I'm only learning to ride a bike at 28

Not really, faggots are not welcome here

These narrow bike lanes seem annoying. What if I want to pass the person in front of me?

have you never been on a 2 lane road?

i havent ride a bike for so long
i wonder if i could just pick it up again or do i have to relearn it now that i think about it.................

it does a decent job but the cars are not separated enough in some areas

Sure, but I ride my bike for exercise and fun. Being stuck behind a fat person, little kid, or old people takes away the appeal.

you ring your bell, change lanes to pass them, and then move back

my city are building so many bike lanes fucking everywhere. it's great.

They say you never forget it, there must be some true to it, I did learn how to not immediately fall as a child, and it seems that skill still exists and helped me learning now

It blows my mind that there are adults that don't know how to ride a bike or swim.

hate cars
hate bikes
I will only ever WALK

Please do us all a favor and toss wild praire seed mixes on the road divides in your state

No, Vienna is shit for cycling. It's basically a city sized parking lot with low visibility and angry cagers.

Based.

Austrians suffer too?

Yes. It's pretty much balkans tier.

We even have car suburbs with comically giant parking lot shopping centers that you can reach via 10 lane Autobahn. Very stuck in the 1950s.

austria is hilly... mountains... big elevation changes... ofc cycling wont be big... even in cities

Austrians... mein bruders... we suffer....

Also it rains sometimes and of course there is winter. Temperatures may even dip below 0°C on a few days of the year.

Not that bad. I used to bike to campus everyday and I had Access to bike lanes for 95% of the path. And now they finished the last 5% , too bad my bike got fucked up and I don't wanna buy a new one because I'm mostly gonna leave after 2 months

We're doomed to be car dependent until we finally collapse

fucking nerd

user I will personally become a nuisance to the building code/zoning regulators in our country until we finally get what we deserve

As you can see, it is very steep here. That's why no one (except that one car) uses the bike lane.

University campus has an excellent sperated bike path.

Nobody uses that bike lane because it shares space with traffic. That shit fucking sucks to bike on

i am a traffic engineer and road designer... i can tell u cyclists are an afterthought over here... and pedestrians get thrown into the bin

The dedicated bike paths extend to the beginning of downtown Atlanta
