So basically half of them are just pitch-black tribesemen that wear loincloths, chuck spears and have never heard a single word of Sanskrt in their lives, right? That would explain why they don't look like picrelated anymore.

Sanskrit was gatekept by Brahminical Order as only their language. Other Hindus used Prakrit and regional languages to write their scriptures.

The Brahmanical Order was separate from mainstream Indian society. It existed even when all the Hindu states collapsed. Even the Muslim rulers in India paid tribute to Brahmins because Brahmins did provide them with plenty of useful knowledge on astronomy, philosophy, politics, arts, and culture.

What your picture shows is a havan. It still happens today. Here's a recording of it from ISCKON Bangalore

When did your family first hear of Vishnu, adopt basic clothing, came out of the jungle and stopped worshipping the Big Black Jagannath, Sanjeet? The mid 20th century, amirite?

Pic related, it's """Hinduism""" as practiced by most Indians

the cousins of my ancestors :)

Havanās are traditionally done by Brahmanical families. What you're describing is a process called Sanskritisation, by which people of lower strata were elevated to non-Sudra status by appropriation of Brahmanical customs. They didn't become Brahmins, but their status was elevated as now they were part of the Vedic fold. This process has been happening since 1st millennium BCE.

Oh, and yes, local non-Brahmanical deities are often represented as stone. Many people even after Sanskritisation continued the worship of their ancestral Gods, like Jagannath.

Do you know anything about Druids
Do you think there was similarities between the Brahmin and Druids

what kind of brahmin are you bro
t. Saraswat Brahmin

he is the type we will behead and you are the type we will burn

In the Rig Veda, there is a tribe of people called the Druhyu. There is an interesting hypothesis that the Druhyu are the Druids. But the Druhyu are not a friendly tribe to the Brahmins, and reject their customs in our pantheon. In the mythical battle, Dasrajānā Yuddhā (Battle of the Ten Kings), the legend goes that the 10 Kings, including the Druhyu, unite against the Brahmins to overthrow their sanctity, but Indrā comes to the rescue of the Brahmins, and when they proceed to attack the fort, are killed by thunder and their chariots destroyed by flood and the thunderer exiles them forever, to a faraway place.

So it's an interesting theory, it would seem rather cool to have the precursor tribes of the Druids in the Vedic pantheon. Perhaps its a story from the time our ancestors were still duking each other out on the Steppe.

Mohyal (Punjabi) Brahmin

Brahmans need to retvrn to our Lord Indra ASAP. Reject Buddha, Krishna, and Rama. RETVRN.

For thou art he, O Indra, who stormeth all castles of the foe,
Firstborn amongst the Brahmins, Slayer of Dasyus, man's Supporter, Lord of Heaven.

I WILL declare the manly deeds of Indra, the first that he achieved, the Thunder-wielder.
He slew the Dragon, then disclosed the waters, and cleft the channels of the mountain torrents.
RV (1.032.01)
He slew the Dragon lying on the mountain: his heavenly bolt of thunder Tvastr fashioned.
Like lowing kine in rapid flow descending the waters glided downward to the ocean.
RV (1.032.02)
Impetuous as a bull, he chose the Soma and in three sacred beakers drank the juices.
The Lord grasped the thunder for his weapon, and smote to death this firstborn of the dragons.
RV (1.032.03)
When, Indra, thou hadst slain the dragon's firstborn, and overcome the charms of the enchanters,
Then, giving life to Sun and Dawn and Heaven, thou foundest not one foe to stand against thee.
RV (1.032.04)
Indra with his own great and deadly thunder smote into pieces Vrtra, worst of the Dragonborns.
As trunks of trees, what time the axe hath felled them, low on the earth so lies the prostrate Dragon, and the Brahmans victorious.
RV (1.032.05)

If the Brahmin didn't come out of the jungles in the recent past, then why are they 70% Dasyu and 30% Arya at best, and even this in Kashmir and surrounding region?

We are just as Dravidian as we are Aryan. Worship of both Aryan and Dravidian Gods should continue

i am pushkarna brahmin

Why were your 'Aryan' ancestors still living as ooga booga in the jungles until like 500 years ago?

Buddha was not aryan
Also his tribe does not exist anymore today
