Best movie theater experience?

Best movie theater experience?
For me the best thing I saw in theater was Avengers Infinity War.
It was completely packed. usually when I go to the theaters they are mostly empty, but this one every seat was filled. People cheering, and gasping at the intense moments. The atmosphere was unmatched, so much better than watching it at home.
Everyone was completely shocked by the finale too, it was unexpected

>go to see black panther on opening night
>get there just as previews are ending, literally every seat is full and no assigned seating
>find one seat open seat
>black kid on one side, maybe 9 or 10 yo
>huge black woman on the other side, clearly his mother
>oh_boy_here_we_go.jpg
>nod and motion with my head for the kid to move down a seat next to his mom
>he ignores me
>mom ignores me
>fuck it, sit down in between them
>expect the kid to be loud and annoying through the movie
>nope
>they both are quiet and respectful throughout
>kid asks me for a sour patch towards the end of the movie
>say "sorry, no." (I was running low)
>movie ends
>as the lights come up kid tells his mom it was "just alright"
>i secretly nod in agreement with him

I unknowingly went to an advanced screening of the Nightmare on Elm Street remake (2010) in philadelphia where they filmed audience reactions for a promo commercial. The entire middle section was reserved for hired actors instructed to overreact.

King Kong

How does he see the screen?

You should have made a treatise to the black community and told them how much you loved the movie

>go see movie
>people shut the fuck up and don't use their phones or crunch popcorn loudly/rustle candy wrappers/make other noises with food they might have with them
It's all I ask for.

It was alright, had some good ideas and some likeable characters (I'd colonize the black doctor girl)
but over all it was just typical boring marvel CGI-fest, and the final battle was one of the worst CGI fights, looked like it was made by interns

Even the niglet kids probably like Spider Man or Batman better. Like what kid is gonna ask his parents for Black Panther toys?

The phones I grant yes, do not use your phone in a cinema. But food wrapper sounds and the occasional murmur are part and parcel. Just don't be chatting over a film is all I ask really, folks should take their asses home if they want to converse.

>8th grade
>watching One Missed Call with friends
>tell a joke after a jump scare
>qt looks at me and laughs

that was 15 years ago and I still remember it

I actually enjoy the noise. am I the only one?
The sound of people crunching on popcorn just adds to the cinema atmosphere for me.
I saw The Batman a few days ago in theater and I purposely crunch on my popcorn loud during the quiet parts for this reason. It's kino atmosphere.

My gf sometimes pulls out her phone during the movie though and that does piss me off. I always scold her and tell her to put it away.

Movie theaters are supposed to be a fun and exciting community experience you fucking autist.

>ywn experience docking kino like the first time

Rise of the Planet of the Apes
>crowd goes apeshit when Caesar says no
>i didnt know it was coming either
>Mexican dude goes 'OOH OOH OOHH' like a gorilla when coming out

>I always scold her and tell her to put it away.
Good on you, brother
Dominate that bitch

Why cant those people fucking shut up?
I would literally ask for a refund

The hangover. I was alone and underage, but I told the ticket guy that I’d left my license at home. I thought I was pulling a fast one, but in retrospect the ticket guy knew and just didn’t care.
I sat comfy with a big drink, and have strongly preferred seeing movies alone since then. I like the feeling of being with others, but facelessly and silently and anonymously.

>Not sharing sour patch kids
>Thinks the blacks will be annoying
Typical frogposter.

>My gf sometimes pulls out her phone
How old is she?

Maybe recency bias but Dunc in IMAX was fucking mind blowing
