M&C is not "apologetics for western military activity". War on the high seas just is cool, if you think the only reason anyone would portray it as cool is political propaganda you need to check your T levels.
The rationale for fighting that 300 clumsily gives us (Greek freedom vs Asian slavery) is simply true and is how uncucked historians had been interpreting that battle for hundreds of years.
