It's a supernatural revenge movie that is incredibly 90s, but unlike a lot of stuff from that era it's style has aged incredibly well. It would not surprise me if this reboot is an attempt to capeshit this all up though and overflow us with endless trashy sequels. It will definitely lack any of the style, angst and edge from the original and instead be a generic loud Hollywood movie.
