It's fucking ridiculous, right? If you are not insane, just flee to the US. That's what I am about to do

In what? A year?

The median salary for full-time workers in the US is $50,000.

Not for IT senior engineers it isn't

Specifically, $56,287 in 2020 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Here people think 20k USD a year is very decent salary. A house is 400k minium. Someone help

This includes part time workers, like teenagers working in supermarkets

That's not full-time workers (i.e., 37.5+ hours per week)

>Americans include the south-east in their income statistics to hide the truth
That's like living in London and including Romania in your statistics for some reason

Don't do it. You'll be filled with regret.

Thats not full time median salary.

Those are high cost of living areas. $2000-3000 for rent, $300 average monthly grocery bill. $600 a month on car insurance and parking if you have to drive, $300 a month to pay for your car loan, $200 on health insurance. Internet and cable bill likely $150.

Oh no I have to spend 24-36k on rent of my 90k after tax income!!

South Americans think it's completely normal to earn less than 5k USD in a full time position

So?

I fucking hate this schizo so much, you live in one of the best economies on earth, if you invested a fraction of the time you spend seething into productive activities you’d be able to make six figures in Germany you fucking freak

Can't say that about Europe, in Europe that's very, very low.

>I suffer because I earn half as much as a american while south Americans earn 20x less

thats literally minimum wage??? what the fuck nigga

Those are literally some of the richest places in America. It's not a representative of the country.

Germans need to cut their red tape and bureaucracy, as well as labor regulations that make their labor market too rigid. Their service sector isn't developed enough. They're suppressing their currency to boost their export industry.
