Rick’s not dead. I think it was a post credits scene, but they show him being airlifted after he floats down the river. It’s designed to fit into the the White shell armor city arc. The comics truly deserved a better adaptation.
Such a shame too, because the show had such a strong start and still produce some great moments…which have now fizzled off into failure.
