What were the biggest mistakes in your country's history?

For Israel it's these two:
1) Not expelling all the arabs from here (they are now 20% of the population, constantly try to destroy Israel and are responsible for 80% of the crime).

2) Letting "jews" from arab countries come here.
They seriously lowered the quality of the country.

If we were 100% European Jewish we would be a northern european tier country.

>post ww2 jews were given the option to cut off a piece of land form germany to have their ethnosate
>settle for some desert surrounded by arabs
you did it to yourself

1) Joining mercosur. A failed try to replicate the EU that has costed us dozens of treaties with other countries (especially fue to Argentina's influence in mercosur (and sometimes Brazil)).

>Having elected a larper that introduced social welfare in the country in the early 20th century (at the time it was alright because our economy allowed it, but it was the seed for the future decline

The almost 100 years of civil war and genocide of the natives was absolutely necessary

Not enslaving the Irish to pick the cotton instead and letting women vote.

invade china

shahar ur brown

> spanish tlaxcaltec alliance

Should have never happened. After defeating the few spanish marauders, tlaxcala and mexico could had reach an agreement of mutual aid. Then we could have expanded north ward and the whole evangelization of the americas would have never happened

> not killing all the conservatards in 1821

We would still have texas, 4 corners, etc. 1858 was already too late

Imagine.

Not uniting in 1848 under a liberal constitution, and instead having the absolutist Prussians with the retarded Wilhelm 2 in charge

>Letting "jews" from arab countries come here.
I wonder how many mizrahis beat the shit out of you in school

not destroying austria when we had the chance

The creation of the CIA has irreparably damaged not just our country but the entire world.

you're right we should've united in 1848/49, but Prussia wasn't absolutist back then

So modern Germany but in 1848

>What were the biggest mistakes
Slavery

The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965

>Letting "jews" from arab countries come here.

Anglo colonists should have miscegenated with the natives instead of expelling and killing them. Imagine the SOVL of an Anglo-Iroquoian nation.

Franco not putting as successor his son.

Slavery
The weird hyperracial tensions and culture war bullshit we have today are us paying for having had slaves
We could have built this country without them

>Not antagonizing the US when we had the chance and the justification to do so
>Not backstabbing the argentinians even harder right after their defeat

I would let Shahar in desu

There are so many that I don't event know how to begin listing them, we truly are the land of wasted potential.
