The first three Harry Potter movies are the only good ones

stop watching movies for teenage girls

half blood prince is the best one though

>Prisoner of Azkaban
>the movie that introduced the grimdark grey color and removal of the robes
>good

First four.

This. I think they just taper off starting from that point until you get to the last one which is barely a movie.

Goblet of Fire is the worst movie, easily.
Order of the Phoenix is best

>Anything by David Yates being the best
Order of the Phoenix is the biggest piece of shit out of his bunch.

this right here. It ruined the franchise
also
>singing frogs
>shrunken head

The only good one was the first one. Maybe the second is watchable but that's only because Chris Columbus directed the first 2 and he knew it was suppose to have colour.
Also they stopped wearing their uniforms after 2.

nary a bad one, looking forward to SECRETS OF DUMBLE DOOR

>Goblet of Fire is the worst movie, easily.
Wish I had a harsher word to call you than pleb.

the book was, sure, but it didn't translate to screen well at all

I remember watching these for the first time and being astonished at how bad the child acting was
They clearly nailed the look of Harry, Hermione and Ron but it took years for them to have any sort of chemistry.
Radcliffe was a terrible child actor.
He was ok in some of his more recent work but the first Harry Potter movies were unwatchable cringe.

Rowling only wrote the first 2.
She couldn't keep up with her publishers / studio demands for more cash cow material so she did rough outlines and ghost writers penned the books.
That's why it started sweet and innocent and turned dark and macabre.
Thats why it went from made up words and British slang to American jokes and American slang that a brit would have no knowledge of.
That's why main characters were killed off in a single line within a paragraph and never spoken of or referenced to again.
That's why when Rowling mentions something specific on Twitter her fans instantly point out in the books where she's wrong-
>Rowling: I never said Hermione was caucasian.
>Twitter fans: on this page you wrote "her pale white face".

>She couldn't keep up with her publishers / studio demands for more cash cow material so she did rough outlines and ghost writers penned the books.
Source on this?

Trust me, bro.

jfc, HBP was a dumbster fire of a book
Literally history lessons plus random pointless shit.

The books would have been so much better if voldemort came back in 6 and was dealt with in 7
4-5 could have been magical hijinks and different villains or problems.

The dragon egg chase is peak HP.
Goblet was the last great one before it devolved into YA drama shit.

3 > 4 > 6 > 2 > 7 part 1 > 1 > 5 > 7 part 2.

Simple as. Seethe.

ALso the cursed child is based. I love Draco's son being in love with Harry's son

Both the book and film series peaked at #4, though order of the phoenix is still decent
