What went wrong?

everything

>remake A New Hope with extra CGI that people were already complaining about
Nothing went right.

your abortion.

>le remake meme
Untrue. Everything would've been okay if they were actually remakes.
>VII (IV) Mentor (Han) gets killed like Obi Wan
>VIII (V) Luke plays Yoda's part, "No Rey, I am your brother"
>IX (VI) Luke becomes one with the force outside of battle, also like Yoda. Ben has a change of heart and joins Rey to kill Snoke (and Palpatine stays dead like he should have)
I would've been more than okay with this.

Nothing?
It made billions in the box office.

>each one made less money then the last
>solo didn't even make a billion
why are jew rat disney shills still trying to pr for this?

> Film quality measured in shekels

Are you a fucking Jew, user?

>Film quality measured in shekels
Yes. When s()y retard consoomers start voting with their wallet on a d*sney movie it is generally pretty telling.

They didn’t even seem to have a framework for the trilogy which is fucking insane considering the money involved.

rian won in every way

They hired J.J. Abrams.

It's one of two things, depending on what went down:
>Complete hubris of trying to create a trilogy without a plan just because George Lucas managed.
>Complete hubris of deciding to split the trilogy between three different directors, just so no director could say 'he' made the trilogy - the intention was for it to be Disney's trilogy.

Or possibly both.

>VII (IV) Mentor (Han) gets killed like Obi Wan
That did happen, what the fuck are you talking about. While they were running around on the Death Star 3 rescuing the female prisoner.

>That did happen
Yes, TFA is the only good movie out of the three. But the other two didn't because the jews want us to be miserable so they fucked the other two on purpose.

They were supposed to have benico del toro and purple bitch work together with him active hacking the lightspeed engines in both ships while holder nagivated a collision path at lightspeed, both grasping the force to make them actually crash. But instead they went muh stronk woman and dropped all the parts of the story that made it make sense.

everything about this sequel trilogy has become instantly iconic warts and all much like the rest of the saga. lets be honest: the people that are mad about this are the same people that listen to gates of heaven or titan EPIC music compilations who played old republic a bit more for their own good. maybe the sort of people who cant think for themselves and come up with their own opinions and instead have embarrassingly relegated themselves to co-opting opinions of certain youtuber movie essayists as their own.

that being said ive yet to read an even semi-decent fanfic that beat what we got. this will make deniers seethe here they come now

fpbp

dubs also inb4
>durrrr they didnt plan out the trilogy
neither were the originals or the prequels welcome to high stakes filmmaking business

Rian (it's spelled Ryan, you bitch) Johnson and the pozzed Disney leadership

What's your point? Literally all of those things from the og movies were ripped-off in the new trilogy.

>Mentor Han gets killed like Obi Wan
Old mentor gets killed by the dark side antagonist, who he has history and an important relationship with, in a planet-destroying facility. Both are the same
>Luke plays Yoda's part
Old Luke is a disgraced hermit-in-exile hiding in a backwater planet after his failure, who refuses to train the plucky desert hero and puts a crazy act on them. Exactly like Yoda.
>"No Rey, I am your brother"
Dark side antagonist delivers shocking reveal to the desert hero about their parents, during their second confrontation. Both are the same
>Luke becomes one with the force outside of battle
Literally what happened in ep 8. And he's already a ghost when ep 9 starts
>Ben has a change of heart and joins Rey to kill Snoke
Ben gets redeemed by the optimistic hero who wont give up on them, unites with the hero to fight against Emperor Palpatine. Just like, you guessed it, Vader.

All three of these films ARE remakes whether you like it or not. Are you okay with them now? You shouldn't.
