Is this the sort of body type an actor playing Batman should have?

He's more or less like that, but more cut.

I think barafags shouldn't push their gross fetish on innocent people.

/heem/ shit only

>but more cut
Bodybuilders look like that because they're working out to lower their bodyfat and dehydrating themselves
For a combatant that would be highly counter productive as it is wasting time and energy and stamina and endurance

Nah, being cut is fine if you just wanna look good. A real strong and powerful body has a layer of fat on it.

No, this is.

Yeah but Batman's different in that he's cracked the code on how to be as high efficiency as possible. It's not really meant to be relatable.
He's at once as strong as the best power lifter but also as agile as the best acrobat.
That shit doesn't work irl.

this is peak male performance

not a layer of fat but they do have a not-low bodyfat %
you see this in all the combat sports, they're big but not bulging because the bodyfat % isn't ultra low

High muscle mass with Olympia-level bodyfat isn't really sustainable unless you're extremely committed.
The people who look the part are more often than not on roids.

in the heavyweight divisions
when you get into the lighter they can be because the weight requirements mean there isn't much left after they've developed their muscles

MMA is all about weight cutting, most of the training camp is just about lowering body fat so they can cut the last 20% of water weight without hospitalizing themselves.

Whittaker or Rockhold have a more fitting physique for Batman. Heavyweights would be too slow

Bas was at heavyweight and much of his career competed in openweight competition

he'd be working out regularly not to mention fighting/running/climbing in the body armor
so thinking of that incidentally some of his training would have to be done wearing a weight vest or diving belt to simulate the armor

light heavy, he had trouble getting weight _up_ for heavyweight youtube.com/watch?v=wXou1SxTAKU

True he would weigh in light heavy, but he only fought in heavyweight for weighted competition

Batman should be long, with lean muscle and light on his feet.
