Are you hyped?

No, 4k remasters never seem to get the colours right for some reason. Everything either looks very faded or saturated. Also the movie isn't that good anyway.

No because it's a boring film that should've been called The Slow Motion Picture

I feel tired just thinking about it.

>The Motionless Picture

why is the rainbow in this picture is star trek supporting fags now?

If the ending wasn't dumb it would have been the best Star Trek

What was dumb about the ending?

A little bit hyped, but don't they have to redo some effects from the original directors cut since they only did them in SD back in the day? What are the odds they won't look like shit

They did redo them

Fuck no. Boring, terrible movie.

easily the weakest star trek film bar none

>they've changed the visual effects to make it closer to Kurtzman crap
No thanks.

No because TOS is crap. The only good Trek are the 90s era shows.

DS9>VOY>TNG S3-7>ENT>TNG S1-2>TOS

Excited to finally see the DC in non-dvd quality

yeah the early 2000s were awful for longevity. They would just master the effects at 720x480 and call it a day. Never having the option for a higher release

I think my favorite DC shot is this one, had no idea that was a CG model, the lighting matches perfectly. Plus in the scene in the original made no sense, you see the energy ball approach the view screen and just disappear, but the sound effect for it keeps going on even after its gone.

I have no desire to see anything in a higher resolution than I have already seen it.

Callused virgin hands typed this post.

I am old enough to clearly remember when that came out in theaters and Ia was so disappointed when I first saw it.
Holy shit that was boring.

>lets make a movie for the 10 year return of star trek
>what something fans loved about the show?
>the group dynamic of kirk spock and mccoy!
>ok lets make them cranky and pissed off at each other for the first 2 hours, that will really make fans happy!
