Back when Shrek 2 came out, IHOP was the clearly superior eatery. But Denny's has come to surpass it in recent years.
Or maybe it's just that I'm not a drunken degenerate kid anymore and don't only go there at 3AM now.
I don't live in place trashy enough to have a Waffle House
Because that's not what it looks like on the outside. On the outside, Waffle House looks like a place you'd go to buy heroin or get knifed to death by a fat black hooker.
I had that yesterday, seems to be going around up here in the Northeastern US.

I miss when IHOP, Dennys, Waffle House were actually decent.
I don't know if you guys have gone lately but post covid these places have gotten completely fucked.
They're no longer truly open 24/7, dine in is often closed, service quality has dropped to nothing.
They just can't keep competent workers in a post-covid world..

I live west of the mississippi. Have never once seen a waffle house in my entire life.
Most people couldn't make this on their own, nor do they have a seasoned griddle to enhance the experience.
I don't even care what shitty country you're from because I'm an American and I don't have to give a shit about lesser peoples.

They must be running short on illegal Mexicans or even pay them too little. I've seen this issue at all of my local fast food places though, they're already struggling to maintain hours and keep workers.
