That was the consensus when it came out. Now it's forgotten anyway so who cares.

>here's that kid I was talking about

>what the fuck do you mean? he looks 48 at least

it's highly regarded in kino circles

Racism is genuinely wrong.

Why do you think that fact is unpopular?

I haven't even seen it but ya'll niggas ain't been putting it on my watchlist, that's for sure. P sure that was the general consensus frfr no cap

It's pretty good.

How is this unpopular? Everyone watched it once and then forgot about it

Don’t have the patience to sit through this. Deniro looks retarded in the role.

Because everyone expected a follow up to Casino and Goodfellas but really it's a completely deromanticized gangster movie about guilt and mortality

Incorrect. It's supremely correct and ethically mandatory.

>deromanticized gangster movie about guilt and mortality
its not even a good job at that

It would have been a good movie if it wasn't for the laughable casting.

Only retards expect that. Scorsese enjoyers know this guy makes stuff besides gangster flicks and we were expecting Hoffa kino and we got it.

Well you can't blame people for expecting another typical gangster film from him when he needlessly reused the same cast again. I think it would be more appreciated by audiences if people went in knowing it would be a very slow and morbid film instead of the usual frantic and dynamic biographical style he used for Casino, Goodfellas and Wolf of Wall Street

It's greatest flaw is the length, as it's not gripping ride as Goodfellas or Casino where time flies so it kinda gets to you. But it's still a pretty goddamn solid movie.

only things i remember from this movie are that awful fight scene and the scene where pesci tells de niro his friend is going to die
>we did all we could. don't call him.

These eyes are so fucking awful. I wish they used a deep fake of a young Bob Deniro instead

the pacing is really the biggest flaw
you really feel those 3 hours, i had to take a break in the 2 hour mark to stretch
but with The Batman those 3 hours flew by because of shit actually happening and the story moving along
its completely unfair to compare but just an observation

^

i liked the final section where he's old as fuck and has no friends or any family to care about him. felt like looking into the future

the batman couldve been improved by it being like 30 mins shorter

You got filtered by the last act didn’t you

is irishman a slur like chinaman?
