every kilometer they have little stands where they sell mildly alcoholic fermented goat milk drink.
its charming. plus a lot of very very beautiful nature. very beautiful backpacking treks. magical place.
they all wear funny little hats, too.

Cities are grim (i liked Osh though) but nature is incredible amd everything is cheap and the culture is just completely different

Granted my bias towards the UAE is extreme because my plane landed there in the aftermath of a dust storm and you couldn’t picture a bigger shit show if you tried. At least I got lucky and was sent to a slightly nicer hotel than the ones the majority were sent to.

Depends... when it comes to firstworldness definitelly the Netherlands. In terms of the country that liked the most that'd be Spain. Great urbanism, lifestyle and weather.
