Here's my scenario for each neighboring countries
Germany:
>For the British Isles
Germany tries to either Germanize them as they consider them "Germans"; they either succeed through personal union/good relationships or fail, but contrary to France who saw them as historical rivals, Germany see them as Islander Germans that needs to be Germanized
>For Belgium, Luxemburg
Straight up attempt to annex it, like France did a couple times
>For France
Basically the same in that timeline, love-hate relationship
>For Switzerland
Attempts to annex Romandie (in that timeline the French part of Switzerland that in the map is the German part); wage war with Switzerland
>For Italy, Spain
They don't interact, AT ALL. Germans doesn't consider them as worthy friends. Maybe identities issues in Korsika, the same way there was in Alsace in the 20th in France. Eventually Korsika gets fully Germanized.
France:

Same as what Germany tries for the Brits: attempt Frenchify the Netherlands.
