What state is that? Looks like cali

What are some cultural differences you noticed between states/regions?

why are you gay?

It’s oregon!!

People in flyover states are far fatter than big states. Also, junkies and chill(mostly non racist if you dont have much of an accent despite me being brown). They HATE gays though lolz

Tbh with you the best moments were me driving through wyoming or idaho. Or playing pool with the people I went oth. Or the one time when bisons surrounded us and we had to wait till they went around us. Talking to natives there was also very fun. How about you?

I have been to over 18

Must be nice driving through so much nature, isn't it scary to drive there at night since it's so dark with animals that could be on the road?

I haven't been to many states, only been to AZ, NV, CA, IL, OH, MI, NY and FL with most of my time spent in MI (and a considerable time in NY and CA). Going to an American football match is probably up there, but the national parks you guys have is breathtaking and so pristine. We have zero nature here so basically even the worst national park is better than any piece of nature we have here.

Well it is scary sometimes, but I think if you follow the speed limit and drive in inner lanes it’s relatively safe. The worst were the curvy hilly roads of oregon, one mistake and you will fall down 2k feet. The parts are kino, I went to yellowstone and teton, I plan to go to glaciar and olympic soon

yeah the road near the mountains (well, you guys probably just call it hills) are sort of dangerous, but compared to other mountainous countries the roads in those plots of nature are really really safe.

have you seen a road like this yet? this is the image i think of when i think of the (pacific) northwest

visiting mount rainier and national park is still on my bucketlist, but the US is so expensive right now compared to europe :(

Yes the weather and the greenery is typical pnw. I am planning to hit rainier next weekend!

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LIVE MY DREAM

Attached: 1642208693055.png (785x757, 267.06K)

I didnt have much time to hike till now due to stress from work and when I got the time, I have to move to ny in 2 months((( it feels fine and I am planning to fly to national parks often and maybe move back here after a few months for a new job

Also my best moment was
So we were driving to a trail and on the way we saw 2 grizzlies and spent some time watching them. Then when we reached the trail, there was a missing person’s poster who presumably went to the trail and never came back. A few yards after there was a poster of what to do when a grizzly attacks. It kinda scared us but we finally decided to be courageous and do the hike. After like 50 yards we saw something brown in the bushes, which made us almost shit our pants. Luckily it was an antelope and we decided to go back since it was just 3 of us with no bear spray or anything

What do you do for a living?

I think it's safer to bring a gun or something with you on hikes but idk how legal that is

If I was a citizen, I would’ve bought a gun but a guy from idaho to get a knife and keep it with me at all times
Im code monkey

o youre not american??

you should invest in a good camera btw mate and take it with you on trips! having super high quality crisp and clean pictures of your trips make your memories of it 1000% better

Nope im not american or white

Yea I was thinking if I should get a camera. That seems like a really good thing to have if you travel often. There are many pro wildlife photographers with fancy cameras in these parks that got me interested

There is no need to get a superfancy camera if you're a beginner desu, just get an entry level DLSR and fuck around with it
besides, those super professional cameras are bulky as fuck and are a hassle to hike with

you could alternatively get an analog camera. i love the colors that it produces, pic related :)

no idea why it's upside down
but basically it's a camera from the 80s or something i think
developing costs a bit of money but imo it's worth it

Seems like I can get one under 1k. I’ll try getting it!!

You can even get good used entry level DLSRs for half of the price :)

I'm off to bed, I have to wagecuck tomorrow. Have fun on your hike next weekend, goodnight.

How much did it cost you? And how much do you think a trip like that would cost with a rental vehicle?
