I don't know how our parents managed to get a daughter that has had an entirely non-existent date life ever since quitting college over 5 years ago and has completely given up on it, and a son who's a terminal shut-in that never goes out to meet people, but at least it feels a lot less alone than being in a similar situation as an only child.
