Superman

How does one even make a good movie about a flawless character with every power under the sun?

Make it for kids

Brainlets can only think of conflict as a physical act

all superheroes are extremely boring superheroes

superman is the greatest midwit filter ever

>an interesting villain
>don't nerf or remove his powers
>don't make it 2deep4u
>make superman likeable
>make the world aesthetically pleasing

It's so simple.

somebody tell this retard to go watch Justice League 2001 episode 8

You give him character flaws
the problem is then you get retards saying "I don't like this Superman, Superman isn't supposed to have character flaws"

Superman is a symbol of white American Imperialism. Black Panther is the superhero that represents us now

no you fucking retard you make All Star Superman instead of the shit you just suggested

You write something where death isn't the consequence.

>All Star Superman
probably the most overrated superman story ever, I don't know why it gets touted as peak superman fiction

That shit is boring. It’s like a chick flick with Superman and his girl.

yeah you are a complete retard, go find the Euphoria thread faggot

do you just poach posts other people make for thread ideas

make him trans

What do you even like about All Star Superman? Why do you think this is good?

Superman needs to evolve with the times. He’s a relic of a time most no longer remember.

Why do twatterfags have the worst takes?

Because it is good.

its the best take on superman and lex

Superman can't be in multiple places at the exact same time even with his super speed. So you can have him choose between saving multiple people like in The Dark Knight. You can have him become an alcohol like in Superman III. You could have him swap bodies with a little girl and he has to figure out a way to get his powers back and navigate the life of a small girl who gets bullied by her classmates. You can have him stuck in a timeloop where he has to figure out a mystery or some shit. There's a lot you can do even if he is the most overpowered character.

He’s not boring because he’s too powerful, he’s boring because he always does the right thing with his powers. He rarely ever has any kind of internal conflict or difficult choice to make. He never does anything bad intentionally. He doesn’t have a good backstory. His whole thing is just
>alien baby grows up on earth with superpowers
>parents raised him to always use his powers for good
He has like zero personality beyond that. He’s as two dimensional as it gets. Batman is probably the only DC superhero that’s actually cool but his shit has gotten old at this point too honestly. Why can’t someone other than diversity hires with blue hair just make some new superheroes already. Better yet, I can’t believe we haven’t seen a live action Red Hood yet.

>it's good because it's good
aka the internet told me

Richard Donner was able to do and so have shows and cartoons. Maybe Snyder is just a fucking hack?

surprised it took three posts for this. Superhero movies are all equally shitty and pointless.
>"Oh wowza guys! Do you think the superhero and all his magic friends will overcome the odds and save the day again??"
It's just the same shitty contrived stories over and over and over again with slightly different coats of paint. The only reason there are so many of them is because retarded manchildren never get tired of paying to see their own personal powerfantasies get played out. What really makes me mad is thinking about how many actually interesting movies will never get made because of how much money and talent the superhero movie production line sucks out of the industry from other projects. Fuck superhero movies

the same way you make a movie about a crazy billionaire who dresses like a bat and fights crime: with competent writers, directors and actors who've either read or at least will respect the source material
