It's not a federal state so there's a central government, though recently we have regional governors who are elected by each region instead of appointed by the president.

I think in the more far out regions there's more of an autonomous sentiment, but nothing that really translates into any significant political action or separatist movement, if you're not counting some ethnic tensions in the centre south. Still, all the shots are called from the capital, so it's a very centralized government.
