Is this a map of the first world in 2022?

No, it's not.

...

It's America and it's puppets

Taiwan isn't a country

the mighty NORTH MACEDONIA frowns upon your actions

>singapore is a country but taiwan is not
huh?

Yes

If Taiwan isn't a country then why does China not control it and why does Russia, China's partner, regard it as a hostile "country"?

>why does China not control it
ukraine doesn't control donetsk or lugansk, I guess they're countries now. thanks for playing
>why does Russia, China's partner, regard it as a hostile "country"?
it doesn't. it regards it as hostile territory. russia does not recognize taiwan (in fact no one does)

correct

Is everybody forgetting where the terminology is even derived from? First world in the cold war literally just meant US/NATO aligned, second world was Soviet & Friends, and third was neither. OP's map is absolutely correct if viewed from the traditional understanding of the term.

i don't get it

>donetsk or lugansk
Ukrainian territory occupied by Russia

>Taiwan
Taiwanese territory completely controlled by Taiwan and the people of Taiwan

Not really much of a comparison. If your only reasoning for suggesting that Taiwan isn't a real country is that it's not officially recognised on account of cynical trade relation related reasons then that's not much of a basis at all

.

>Kaliningrad is removed from the map and filled with water
>Poland doesn't border with R*ssia any more
good

The people of Taiwan think they're a country, and they specifically don't want to be part of China. They're also able to make their independence a matter of fact, and have done for the greater part of a century and will continue to do so.

Chinese people trying to say that Taiwan isn't a country would be a bit like if a Brit said America isn't a country just because they used to be part of ours. It's just silly.

Would western political recognition make them a country? Seems like a weird bar for an anti western chinaman to set

DPR, LPR *and* Taiwan are *all* countries with limited international recognition.
Calling DPR and LPR as "occupied territory" is Western propaganda.
The only geopolitical superpower recognizing Taiwan as a country is the Holy See. UK and Canada don't recognize Taiwan as a country.

wash your mouth with bleach before speaking of Albania

>Taiwanese territory completely controlled by Taiwan and the people of Taiwan
Donetsk and Lugansk are inhabited by the people of Donetsk and Lugansk who have been fighting a war of independence against Ukraine for 8 years
>Would western political recognition make them a country? Seems like a weird bar for an anti western chinaman to set
there are things such as international law, which are concrete realities, unlike notions of so called east and west you are appealing to

test

why would a leaf care so much about taiwan
