Bears wiping their ass

On TV.
What other ads gross you out and made you steer clear of the product forever?

Not funny? I thought we could meme around with a stealth butt wiping thread all night. I guess all the creative anons turned in early.

FWIW I always hated that shit too.

Fuck you Any Forums, fuck you.

These bears love shitting almost as much as jannies love cleaning it up.

Not gross but those Liberty Mutual commercials are brutal. I want to kill that fucking emu and ground it into a burger, and then force feed it to Doug, Se7en style

The bears are fine but they go WAY too far with the actual butt wiping and singing about clean booties. Like stop.

"gellin like a felon" will always be the most reprehensible commercial ever made.

These ads always made my dad seethe and I would always laugh at how mad they made him. Good times. There is something gross in infantalising wiping your ass as much as they do. Amazing that this ad campaign has been going on for probably 20 years.

I get their stupid jingle stuck in my head and I'm not even american.

I'll never understand the lengths insurance agencies go to advertise. Progressive, Geico and Liberty all have several different recurring plotlines and you might see all of them in a night of casual tv viewing.

Bidets are much better than toilet paper.
If you don't like bidets, then do it Filipino-style.
>get a water pan, scoop up clean water from a massive nearby tub of water, then rinse your ass by tossing water there
>if you want to be even cleaner, put some soap in your ass too
Always too poor to get bidets installed so this has been a godsend to me.

I might take the bears. We got commercials like this today with this bitch on the toilet talking about pooping.

All of them. If I see a garish ad more than once a year, someone I know has to vouch for that product before I'll consider buying. Advertising is the epitome of tech serfdom.

I give you the worst commercial I ever saw with my own eyes on actual television.

This but also med commercials just just last forever with unrelated footage of people doing random activities, fuck these commercials are so boring.

Jesus Christ

There's logical business-based reasons for this.
From what I remember the tl;dr version is that insurance companies are motivated to dump more money into advertising than most other kinds of businesses because there's little significant variation between the services and prices they can consistently offer while still making a profit due to the cost of regulation and the general nature of the Insurance market. Thus a major factor in deciding which company a customer gets a policy with ends up being just brand-loyalty or brand-familiarity. Making unusual and thusly memorable commercials helps to this end. Geico proved this in the late 90's and set the trend ever since.

everything this guy said but less creative

This made me laugh in astonishment

Unfortunately, yes

lmao that’d be insane i wonder if there is

Liberty, liberty, liberty. Liberty.

Liberty's jingle is a prime example of how annoying advertising can be. Their jingle is an objectively poorly-written one with little thought behind it, but it STILL manages to get stuck in your head (and thusly remain memorable to consumers).
Does Liberty Mutual actually operate and do business outside of America/in whichever country you live? If not how were you even exposed to their ads? Was it exclusively due to watching American media/using American streaming-services and thusly getting advertisements targeting that audience? Or was it through Internet-based ads through things like YouTube?
