Based, I genuinely loved how dynamic this movie was and how everyone is portrayed as both good and bad. Shame that's enough to be considered a good movie but the state of the market I suppose.

Luke is not pure good and vader is not pure evil.
That's literally in New Hope instantly shown. If you want to start the saga at episode one same story, even maul isn't even and the jedi aren't pure good.
Palpatine is the closest thing to pure evil but even he seems himself as needed evil and wants revenge.

The lighsabers were created because Lucas though it would be more interesting for kids. Same for the no blood policy in the last movie of the original trilogy
