Dopesick

>sacklers/big pharma fabricate testing on pharmaceutical grade heroin
>criminally misadvertise their product
>pay off the FDA
>buy off Attorney Generals who dig into the company
>sackler family faces no criminal charges and keeps billions of their dollars
>being skeptical of big pharma makes you a chud schizo who doesn't trust the science
who else watched this red pilled series?

Not watching it because you have faggot vocabulary

>t. tranny faggot

breakthrough pain? reminds me of breakthrough covid cases…

better just up the oxy dose for that, maybe another booster will give you better protection too…

I already watched the better version by my man GRS

Oxycontin is safe and effective. There is no addiction because it's retard coating. But if there is addiction anyway it's the users fault.
Just take the jab, loser!

Yeah it was quite good, strangely comfy
The fact that the daughter was randomly a lesbo was kind of cringe though

HBO Crime of the Century is shorter and better. No need to watch Michael Keaton become a junkie.

crime of the century is kino, great rec dawg

Keaton was quite good in this though
He's honestly shaping up to be a really great actor with some of the roles he's taken in like the last 5-10 years

I Don't think the series concentrated enough on how the Sackler's are Jews.

why is every washed up actor doing tv now?

a few more stats about the covetous sackler family and the opioid crisis they spawned
>Purdue made over 35 billion from oxy sales
>over 760,000 people have died from the opioid crisis since 1999
>not a single member of congress objected to HR-37-09, a bill which severely limited the oversight of the DEA with regards to prescription opiates
>at the state level the opioid crisis has cost the American taxpayers over 72 billion dollars
politicians don't give a shit about your well being or the health of the country, they just want private interest money for their campaigns

he's always been a good/great actor. the problem has been the projects he chooses. like choosing a dramatization of the opioid crisis after a half dozen great documentaries about the opioid crisis dropped.

i bet dopesick doesn't even deal with the ex-DEA head the sacklers got to rewrite the laws to be unenforceable, and got everyone to sign off on the change, because he's DEA, you can trust him!

nah they go into that, as well as the corruption of the fda and the Maine attorney general who was initially investigating Purdue but got paid to be on retainer for them
i don't know how anyone has complete faith in big pharma after they basically started an opioid war in the US and politicians just grinned and lined their pockets

I've been watching an episode a day, at 4 or 5 now
it's good but kind of boring, partly because you already know where the plot is going

it's entertaining, but kind of boomer tier.
still, it does a great job showing how badly our govt fucked up in terms of protecting its sovereign citizens from corporate greed (specifically big pharma and the covetous sacklers)

I love misery porn. So i thought it was great

I was really surprised this was made in the current political climate where a bad word can’t be said about big pharma and that we must always trust the science.

>i bet dopesick doesn't even deal with
Bitching about a show he hasn't even seen

only took 20 years (shits been raging since 1999) for the media to start alarming the public to what's going on, so this topic and the sacklers are in the public zeitgeist now. but ya, it is kind of surprising that they would allow something to challenge the narrative that big pharma always has your best interest in mind with covid going on
