One of my most memorable times as a kid was going to see this at the Australian premiere in some bullshit little cinema in Adelaide. As far as cities go, the one in Cyber City Oedo 808 is also pure class. Anime just seems so boring and played out now. I kinda agree that it was all just a mistake.

its so basedd that if you watch the american version (which is also much easier to find) youll notice that the dialogue almost never matches the faces or expressions; characters will be saying comedic bullshit when their expression is worried or confused for example. they changed the lines so much that the american version basically has a completely different plot. its not hard to see why when you watch the original
