nope, nevermind, he's dead

When I saw that racing movie with Stallone because I was a little kid that liked F1. My mother and I were alone in the theatre.
Oh yeah, same thing for Django Unchained, saw it on opening night (Christmas), and I was completely alone in the place, only the employees were there. I went to the last showing at like 9pm, the staff must've been pissed, hahah

>going to watch capeshit with a girl I've been dating
>sneak in my preferred snack of corn on the cob
>brought two along and if she thought it was weird I was planning to play it off as a joke
>take the tupperware out of the back pocket of my coat
>offer her one
>she says "did you seriously bring corn on the cob?" not even smiling
>forget my plan and instead try to play it cool
>reply "more for me"
>she tells me its weird
>I ask her what the difference between eating corn on the cob or popcorn during a movie
>she coldly responds that one doesn't make you a freak
>put the corn back in the tupperware
>tell her I'll go buy some popcorn for us both
>as a face saving joke I ask the guy at the counter to put one of the cobs at the bottom of the popcorn so she'll find it and laugh
>tells me he's not allowed to use the theater's packages for outside food and that I'm not supposed to have it anyway
>he gives me the popcorn though
>get back to the screen room but before I go up I try to put the cob in myself
>popcorn falls everywhere
>decide I've made a mistake and take the cob back out
>put the bucket down and start cleaning up the popcorn into my hands to put it in the trash because I'm a decent citizen
>hear the girl say "what are you doing?"
>look up to see her standing over me, she was going to the restroom
>she thought I had dropped the popcorn and was putting it back in the bucket
>I tell her I dropped it and was just putting it in the trash
>she goes to the restroom
>she doesn't come back
>I watch the movie alone
Being me is hell

Imagine writing all this shit thinking you're funny and it's just really dumb and unfunny. That must really suck

My friends and I went to see Punisher Warzone and the theatre was empty. So we ran around like spazzes, leaping off chairs and pretending to shoot each other while imitating the movie.

Shit like that is why I still try and see movies in the middle of a weekday.

watching Matrix Reloaded on opening night in 8th grade with all my friends. Amazing theater experience.

Freaking out about how good the movie was, doing matrix shit and play fighting in the parking lot after the movie is a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life

I skipped work and went watching Gravity at 10 am in a completely empty theater.
I sobbed like a bitch though half of a movie.

does it hold up? Never got around to seeing it, heard mixed things

I barely remember the film now, never seen it again. But I cried from overwhelming loneliness I felt at that point in my life. I think I compared myself to her being alone in the space.

My elementary school took us to see The Polar Express but for some reason wouldn't let us use the bathroom after the movie and I pissed myself on the bus ride back

>huge DBZ weeb
>went to see Dragonball Evolution
>mid-day showing (unemployed)
>no one in the theater
>sit down
>first 10 minutes
>so disgusted I'm about to throw up
>decide to stick through it
>movie finally finishes
>thankful no one else was there to watch this abortion
to this day they haven't managed to make a good live-action movie based on an anime. Do yourselves a favor and never even try to look for this movie

that's kinda gay user... hope you're doing better now

I tried to make a polar express joke at your expense but failed
