Ben Stiller is the best comedic actor of the last ~30 years and has a wider range than people give him credit for. Sure, he usually plays a retard or a douchebag but no character of his has ever been the same. Zoolander for example is a totally different beast than Tugg Speedman (Tropic Thunder). He also can appear meek and relatable and even pull some dramatic chops.
Tropic Thunder is the most well made and fun comedy of the 21st century so far.
You can hate the little jew all you want but at some point in your life you laughed and empathised with some role he played. All of you. That's way more than most actors can boast.
