I think it’s is best historical film for sure. He manages the setting very well in it compared to his later epics like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven, which don’t quite suck you into the time and place as well. Fantastic variety of locations with no scene wasted.

The last movie I really enjoyed was a few days ago, What Did Jack Do by David Lynch, its a short film but I really liked it and have watched it multiple times since.
