OBI-WAN KENOBI Plot Leaks

>The series begins during the Jedi purge, with two young Padawans escaping the massacre at the Jedi temple in Coruscant.
>Ten years later, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) is living in Tatooine and watching over young Luke Skywalker (Grant Feely) from a distance. Luke’s uncle Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton) disagrees with this, believing that Obi-Wan’s presence endangers Luke.
>Obi-Wan is haunted by his failure to prevent Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) from falling to the Dark Side of the Force and has lost his faith in the Jedi way, which makes him unable to communicate with the spirit of his dead mentor Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson).
>One of the surviving Padawans, Neri (Benny Safdie), locates Obi-Wan and attempts to convince him to rebuild the Jedi order together, but Obi-Wan refuses, claiming that the war is lost and advising Neri to abandon his lightsaber.
>The Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend) and his enforcers Reva (Moses Ingram) and the Third Brother (Sung Kang) track Neri to Tatooine and threaten the locals until “the Jedi” reveals himself.
>Owen believes them to be after Obi-Wan and nearly gives up his location to protect Luke, but Neri intervenes, unwilling to let the Inquisitors harm innocents to find him. He fights Reva, but is ultimately defeated, killed and hanged as a warning to potential Jedi sympathizers.
>Meanwhile, the Inquisitors capture young Princess Leia Organa (Vivien Lyra Blair), and her father Bail Organa (Jimmy Smits) asks Obi-Wan for help before the Inquisitors surrender her to their master Darth Vader.
>Obi-Wan journeys to planet Jabiim to rendezvous with a mercenary (Kumail Nanjiani) who leads him to Leia’s location, but leaves him afterwards.
>Obi-Wan’s rescues Leia while in disguise and encounters Darth Vader. They duel, Vader wins, and Obi-Wan realizes he is Anakin.

>The Inquisitors assign Reva to find and kill Obi-Wan and retrieve Leia. She frequently clashes with the Imperial officer (Indira Varma) overseeing the Imperial takeover of Jabiim and who disagrees with the Inquisitors’ violent methods.
>Obi-Wan and Leia later meet a local power player (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) who runs an underground railroad for enemies of the Empire, aided by the mercenary and the Imperial officer, among others political dissenters of the Empire.
>Against Obi-Wan’s wishes, Leia becomes involved in their efforts to save the underprivileged of Jabiim from Imperial persecution.
>Leia’s defiance against the Empire inspires Obi-Wan to rediscover his own faith in the Jedi way, allowing him to reconnect with the spirit of Qui-Gon.
>Obi-Wan and Leia help the others save the people of Jabiim, then returns Leia to safety and journeys to Mustafar to confront Darth Vader once again.
>During the battle, Obi-Wan is advised by the spirit of Qui-Gon and defeats Vader by exploiting his old weaknesses from when he was a Padawan.
>Obi-Wan cracks Vader’s helmet during the battle and is heartbroken to see Anakin’s disfigured face underneath. Vader vows to best Obi-Wan when they next encounter.
>Bail reunites with Leia and join forces with the power player and his allies to create the Rebel Alliance.
>Obi-Wan returns to Tatooine with renewed resolve, makes amends with Owen, and resumes his vigilance over Luke while training with the spirit of Qui-Gon to “more powerful than he can possibly imagine.”
>There are flashbacks of Obi-Wan training Anakin, and Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting together in the Clone Wars.

No-one cares

If this is good then they aren't real. If they are bad then they are real

Not. Enough. People. Of. Color.

Considering how shit all of Star Wars has been since Revenge of the Sith, this sounds almost offensively bland. At least Book of Boba Fett was funny to watch.

not interested in yidsney trash

Oh great, more stupid retcons

>Obi-Wan and Leia later meet a local power player (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) who runs an underground railroad
This is not looking good

>There are flashbacks of Obi-Wan training Anakin, and Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting together in the Clone Wars.
It would be kino if they had Ewan and Haden reenact scenes from TCW in live action

Might be good

>No A’Sharad Hett

Meds

This all sounds unnecessary

>Leia becomes involved in their efforts to save the underprivileged of Jabiim from Imperial persecution.
Shouldn’t she be like ten years old, like Luke is?

Of course it is. There never was any real point to telling another story with Obi Wan set between Episodes 3 and 4. Lucas already showed us all that the story needed.

Oh no

>Obi-Wan journeys to planet Jabiim to rendezvous with a mercenary (Kumail Nanjiani) who leads him to Leia’s location, but leaves him afterwards.
magical negro once again

>The Inquisitors assign Reva to find and kill Obi-Wan and retrieve Leia. She frequently clashes with the Imperial officer (Indira Varma) overseeing the Imperial takeover of Jabiim and who disagrees with the Inquisitors’ violent methods.
LMAO IS ALWAYS THE FUCKING NEGRO BEING GOOD AT THE END AFTER ALL DESPITE BEING IN A MURDER ORGANIZATION
fuck this fucking retard trope

If a random padawan can locate Kenobi on Tatooine then why can’t the empire?

All I care about is Obi Wan, Luke, Leia, Owen, Beru and Anakin/Vader. All these OC do not steal characters can fuck off.

>>Obi-Wan and Leia later meet a local power player (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) who runs an underground railroad
Black Female name: check
Underground railroad: check
Believable because woke insertions.
>>Against Obi-Wan’s wishes, Leia becomes involved in their efforts to save the underprivileged of Jabiim from Imperial persecution.
So a fucking 10 year old Leia is involving/allowed to be involved? Doubt. I could see her arguing with him to help them, but not ACTUALLY helping them.
>>Obi-Wan and Leia help the others save the people of Jabiim, then returns Leia to safety and journeys to Mustafar to confront Darth Vader once again.
So it's common knowledge Vader has a castle on Mustafar? Did it being on Mustafar not trigger some hints to Obiwan?
>>Obi-Wan cracks Vader’s helmet during the battle and is heartbroken to see Anakin’s disfigured face underneath. Vader vows to best Obi-Wan when they next encounter.
It's kinda sad that I can't be sure whether or not they'd actually just scene for scene redo the Ahsoka vs Vader fight, cracked helmet peek and all. Two helm cracks seems suspiciuos, doubt.
>>There are flashbacks of Obi-Wan training Anakin, and Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting together in the Clone Wars.

>>Obi-Wan’s rescues Leia while in disguise and encounters Darth Vader. They duel, Vader wins, and Obi-Wan realizes he is Anakin.

Doesn't he already know Darth Vader is Anakin from the Jedi Temple in Episode 3? I know they don't give a shit, but unless he doesn't know Helmet Guy's Sith Lord name, this doesn't fit.

Also, "It was all about Leia all along!" - LOL

I think it's the imperial officer who disagrees with the Inquisitors' methods, not Reva disagreeing with her own org.

>obi wan fights vader with a disguise
Yet force users should be able to sense people they are familiar with anyway. Especially someone who taught him for 13 years. Remember on the Death Star when Vader senses Obi-Wan and says “a presence I haven’t felt since…” and then he cuts himself off when he remembers Obi-Wan. Keep in mind that’s just when they are on the same space station, nevermind when they are confronting one another.
>Obi-Wan cracks Vader’s helmet during the battle and is heartbroken to see Anakin’s disfigured face underneath
Copying from rebels now. Tragic.
>training with the spirit of Qui-Gon to “more powerful than he can possibly imagine.”
Aaaaand there’s the fan service. Was skeptical of what they’d be able to salvage from this dead-end part of the Star Wars universe but now I’m convinced it will be yet more lore-breaking shite
