I don’t know, would my dick in your ass work?

No.
The machete would be grappled from her first male would-be victim instantly

it could work, but she's going to need much larger breasts

Get the right TALL and imposing lady, with a non-sexy lumbering walk, and yeah maybe. Bonus points if they give her a retard Sloth-looking motherfucker face and keep the bald head. Get the fuck outta here with a sexy Jason.

She needs to be sympathetic slasher like:
>she was raped by the jocks
>now she is gonna murder the jocks for revange

No, slashers appeal to womens most archaic fear of being taken by a strongan from outside their tribe, men dont have such a fear.

Hellraiser worked better as a concept than execution, they were all dogshit after the first. Can't see them doing any worse tbhwyfm

Only if super hot and porn-tier. Otherwise nope. Don't even try
This

It would work just as well as a female Freddy or Leatherface, i.e. not at all.

>will include a female Pinhead
But that's a man.

Female (male) Jason would work

You know they’re running out of material if they’re gonna necro and retro Hellraiser. The first film is a must-see during Halloween but other than 80’s nostalgia and a pretty esoteric (and small) fanbase Hellraiser is largely forgotten. What next, female Pumpkinhead?

I don't get why they are genderswapping Pinhead. There are all kinds of different male and female cenobites, why not use one of those other females?

One of the upcomig reboots/remakes/sequels/whatever that doesn't bother me at all. Let's face it, the first three movies were alright (2 is underrated, 3 is stupid but quite entertaining and 1 aged poory; seriously, watch 1 again, it's boderline cringe from time to time). A new, revigorated Hellraiser? Fuck yes, why not?
Also, Pinhead being a female I have no problem with. It IS closer the book, so who gives a fuck? As long as they won't give us that feminist "stronk woman in hell rulez!!!" bullshit. I'm so fucking sick of fucking identity politics.

isn't pinhead female in the book?

Just don't make her sexy. Hell she can even be played by an actress who is herself attractive, just don't flaunt it. Mask always on helps, clothes not revealing, and maybe give her very obvious messed up body like gray skin or scars/wounds per an undead look.

I’m a fan of Inferno, but it’s really not a Hellraiser film. They took an existing script and wedged Pinhead in, and it shows. Hellraiser is one of the most random movie franchises ever. It’s heaven/hell in a small town, they’re in outer space, no wait now there’s a dreamworld, oh heck bros it’s a VIDEO GAME, etc. lol. At the end of the day one more Hellraiser film to chuck into the fire isn’t the end of the world. I just find it baffling that the march to dig up everything “but new and improved with DIVERSITY!!!” has found its way to Hellraiser of all things.

female bodybuilder on roid rage

Jason is supernatural. So yes, a female Jason would work.

I think having a female cenobite take the lead for most of a film would be pretty neat. None of the other cenobites got much attention. Pinhead was exiled to Earth in the last film. Maybe have some cenobite “queen” or whatever spend half the film dragging him back to hell to make him be boss again, or whatever. Pinhead, “oooh but a WOMAN this time!” is so fucking lazy. But, then again, all of the later films had lazy writing, so maybe it doesn’t matter.

Actually it's never clearly stated. So I have no problem with an actress being androgynous and having male traits in her appereance to make it ambigous.
As I said, a female Pinhead, why the hell not, but for the love of god, spare us this feministic agenda-driven identity politics bullshit. If doesn't matter if Pinhead is male or female, IT DOESN'T MATTER.

>spare us this feministic agenda-driven identity politics bullshit
Oh, you know they won’t. It’s probably the only reason why they did it. There’s really no telling how bad the new film will be. In a way I’m looking forward to how terrible it might be.
