This movie was serious though. There were no jokes outside of Freeze. Everyone else had serious dialogue like Alfred and Bruce and Alfred and Barbara. Even Batman and Robin were going through pain. Even Bane being taken seriously as a muscle guy and shown to be actually big and strong was very true to the character that can bulk up huge
