Should I watch tenet? I hear it has terrible audio.

I fucking hate this movie with a passion. It doesn't actually DO anything. Just a bunch of mumbo jumbo then Robert Pattinson acts sentimental for no reason.

Mm..it's worth one watch just for the concept. Nolan is grasping in this one.

Lol this.

Tenent proves Nolan as the hack he was all along.

Nolan had to make Tenet trash after the right wing masterpiece Dunkirk. So he cast that talentless black guy for woke points and bombed on purpose

SATOR
AREPO
TENET
OPERA
ROTAS

Not a single person brings this shit up. They use these words throughout the movie. Anons, dont deep dive into this.

film is good, bordering on great

pretty trash movie but has one kino 20 or so minute sequence in the middle

Nolan does mix his movies like an autist but not to the point where the dialogue is inaudible like people say. Fucking earlet millennials spend their entire adolescence with tiny speakers crammed in their heads going at full volume and then wonder why they don't hear so well

God Washington's delivery in this scene was so fucking bad. Nolan should really consider doing more than one take.

why do people hate chistopher nolan so much? is it because he abandoned the cape shit genre? is it because he's not making endless sequels and reboots of their favorite franchise? is it because he makes the audience think about what they're watching without falling off a cliff of elitism?

It's unmitigated kino

gay shit movie.

The casting is kind of inexplicable. This dude went from being in pretty much nothing to being the lead in one of the most anticipated movies in years. You don't cast an unknown for a movie like this, it's an unfamiliar premise so the star needs to sell the audience on it and not a single person in the world was like "Oh hey we have to go see this new movie, John David Washington's in it!"

Did Denzel just call in a favor? Did Nolan take one for the ((team))?

People think Nolan's films are inaccessible but he actually goes heavy on the exposition dumps just to try and keep the plebs in the loop. The problem is that his concepts aren't simple or easily reduced to single sentences so the plebs still get left behind even if he's trying to hold their hand through the entire movie.

But because his movies are big events with big stars the plebs feel compelled to go lest they be left out. So they end up trying to process something that's over their heads and, like an inner-city black kid in algebra class, end up resenting the person trying to explain things to them for being a snobbish intellectual because the alternative is just to realize the fault lies with their own limited capabilities and that's hard to accept. Then they go watch a movie about magic rocks full of quips and feel good about themselves again.

This movie’s too lazy for me. The best compliment I can give it is that, intentionally or not, it mocks Abrams’s style of “storytelling” by making the plot and the mechanics of entropy reversal their own impenetrable mystery boxes.

If you like Nolan movies, then yeah. It's essential Nolankino. If you didn't like Inception or Interstellar, then no.

Because he's popular on reddit.

Modern actors are all terrible

This scene looked cool and all but why did they have to blow up the building this way?

It didnt bomb becuase of John David, he was the everyman no the charmer. It bombed becasue of covid commercially and critically
becasue it was imposbible to understand, literally impossible, and the dialogue was completely unintelligible. fine spectacle though
